Center to release compensation of ₹20,000 crores to States today towards loss of revenue during 2020-21.
Enhancement of return filing including the extension of the due date of GSTR 1 for quarterly filers from 11th to 13th.
Quarterly Return filing and monthly payment scheme for small taxpayers.
6 and 4 digits HSN to be made compulsory from 01.04.2021.
Revision of CGST rules, the release of refund, and satellite launch services to be exempted.

What is the GST council?

The GST council is a constitutional body formed to make recommendations to the Union and State Government on issues related to Goods and Service Tax in India.

What is GST council meeting?

The GST council holds meetings with its 33 members as and when required to discuss various issues on GST.
