12.06.2019: Union cabinet approves the Aadhaar Amendment Bill, 2019” to replace the Aadhaar and Other Laws (Amendment) Ordinance, 2019. This decision will enable aadhar more friendly to the citizen of India.
Thus, the decision will enable UIDAI to have a more robust mechanism to serve the public interest and control the misuse of Aadhar card.
